Through this practice, we will be able to reconnect to the purity and innocence that resides inside all of us. By connecting to our true being, we learn how to love ourselves unconditionally, forgiving and accepting the way we are. Connecting to our inner child is vital to understand how many of our thinking mechanisms have been wired through life experiences. As we become adults, we often forget the authenticity that resided in the inner child we still have inside. We build identities throughout our lives and often disconnect from the deepest authenticity that our inner child tries to express to us and that we often don't listen to.
I suggest you repeat this meditation as many times as you feel you need to reconnect to yourself. Take your time to integrate the powerful revelations you can experience and most of all, accept and love yourself. That is the purpose of it all.
